Discard Pastry


Ingredients:

1 & 1/2 cups flour. 
1 cup sourdough discard (unfed starter)
1 cup (225g) cold butter chopped
Pinch of salt
1 Tbsp sugar (omit for a savoury pastry)

Method:

Add flour into a blender with the sugar and salt, then the butter. Pulse until it looks like bread crumbs. Pour in the starter. Pulse again until it forms a rough dough.
Turn out onto a floured bench and knead until smooth
Divide in 2 and form into disks. 
Cover with glad wrap
Chill for an hour or longer.
